Context
SweatWorks was a fitness technology agency. I joined when we were 7 people and left when we were 150 — I started as VP of Project Management (Mar 2014 – Jan 2018) before becoming COO.
What I did
I designed strategic operations, established the policies that shaped culture and vision, and oversaw company operations and the work of executives. As COO, I ran delivery and operations for clients like Nike, Equinox, and SoulCycle, building the machine that shipped connected fitness products. IoT hardware, mobile apps, backend systems, content platforms — all of it, all at once.
Outcomes
- From under $100K to $20M in revenue.
- From a team of 7 to over 150 employees.
- Inc 5000 three consecutive years (2019, 2020, 2021).
- One of those products, the Nix Hydration Biosensor, won a CES Innovation Award. My name wasn't on the press release — I was the operating system behind it.
