Verusen

Context

Verusen is an AI-powered supply chain intelligence platform. As Director of AI Delivery and Technical Operations (Mar 2023 – Dec 2025), I led strategic initiatives across AI, platform engineering, and technical operations to scale the platform.

What I did

• Designed and implemented the AI explainability system that made model recommendations auditable and translated SME heuristics into product-integrated logic.
• Oversaw internal tooling, delivery pipelines, and engineering workflows.
• Supported SOC 2 Type II readiness through change control, access governance, and process documentation.
• Structured roles, scopes, and rituals across engineering, product, and data science pods.

What it taught me

Enterprise AI is a different animal — the technology is only half the problem. The other half is getting organizations to trust it and integrate it into how they actually work.
